Founded in 1966, Harveys was a renowned UK furniture retailer that, for over 50 years, provided affordable and functional furniture for families and first-time homebuyers. Famous for its sofas, beds, and home furnishings, Harveys operated over 100 stores at its peak, positioning itself as a budget-friendly high street brand. However, due to increased competition and changing consumer habits, the brand faced financial difficulties and eventually closed on 30 June 2020. It was later acquired by the Blue Group and rebranded.
In 2008, MASH Designs began designing for Harveys through Steinhoff UK and continued to deliver design solutions until the brand’s closure. During the collaboration, MASH Designs deeply engaged in Harveys’ product development. Centering on the needs of its core audience, it created furniture designs that balanced functionality and cost-effectiveness. See Similar Projects by this Client!
